Someones happy about their first BB kill!

Always nice to bad a ship like that, nice work. Try to avoid Der Kanal like the plague though! Very dangerous!

Great start to your career!

Don't mean to highjack this thread, but how come I can start my career in '39 from Wilhelmshaven, mooch through the channel without a single peep from a ship (I even had a look in Dover port to see if anyone was home...nada). Spent 24hrs patrolling my square, headed home through the channel again without spotting a thing. I even went to 'scope depth and spent 2hrs on the hydrophone; still nobody wants to give me anything to do! This was a boring trek!

Is this normal or was I just unlucky?

Neither. I'd say most likely a bug. Are you using a mod? Maybe it is corrupted?
The Channel SHOULD be full of patrols, especially between Dover and Calais!
I made it through once at night in early war, but I avoided several warships.

I am playing SH3 GWX+SH3 Commander. There are plenty of targets in the single missions for me, it only seems to be the campaign where everyone else has gone home and not told me about it.
