S3D screwed by recent updates ?

All,
just a quick heads up .... today S3d stopped working for me. Onlyw ay I could get it working was to go back to a system restore point from Sunday evening. I noticed my windows update chuntering away this afternoon so I figure that's the only thing which changed since yesterday so something in the Windows update may be to be blame.

I'm runnnig an odl system on Windows XP Sp3 .... so not sure if this will apply to anyone running Vista or Win 7.... but just wanted to let people know that something updated which completely stopped S3D in it's tracks.

Does anyone know if Skwasjer is still around ? Maybe he'd like to know or be able to figure out what the problem is ?

maybe you installed a new graphics driver recently? i am running an ATI AGP card, and s3d wont work if i used catalyst higher than 11.8.
