after a quite long tour and several savegames, it take ages to load the last one! why is this process so slow? it seems the longer the mission, the bigger the file and the longer the loading.
anyone having the same problem? |

Additionally one of the developers posted that, the longer your patrol, the longer your load will be. Makes sense since every event that has taken place since you left port has to be loaded off your HD, so the more events, the longer it takes.
Once you start a new patrol (not campaign.... patrol) the loads get short again. JCC |

Yup if you stack up alot of what I call "tweeners" where you refit and not dock and get new orders the load times can be pretty long indeed.
My record long load time (from load save not including game initilization) is 15 minutes ![]() Ive learned to live with it. Id rather run a bunch of tweeners than get retiered early. Eventually though you got to take the boys back to home port or they get a bit peeved. |
