Has anyone noticed this? After playing for a while I have a fps decrease in the same view (for example on the bridge looking at the bow). Let's say I start at 19 fps, then I can finish at 8-9 in the same conditions, weather, etc.
Now if I hit the windows key, return to the desktop and finaly to SH4, I usually get my 19 fps back :hmm: It is quite annoying that my "not so good but playable" fps are not stable ![]() Any ideas? My old system: Athlon XP 3000+, 1Go memory PC3200, NVidia GeForce 6800 |

Yep, when i start out on, say the bridge, i am maxed at 60fps but within an hour it's down to 25 or 30fps. Was wondering last night if there might be a memory leak - next time I play I will leave memturbo open on my other monitor and see if I can pick any ongoing memory degradation.
Apparently alt-tabbing to the desktop and back usually helps but this just crashes SHIV for me so it's not a solution. |

I read somewhere that if you shell out (alt tab) and return things return to "normal".
Its heresay but worth a try. |
