Never seen that before

March 1942:

Found a convoy, got detected, depthcharged (2 destroyers, 1 Black Swan and 1 Flower) and survived. While the escorts tried to find me again I rose up to PD and managed to sink a Pyro and a whalefactory ship. When the Whalefactory ship sank I saw the following:

That ship exploded underwater. How cool is that?
Do you have any of such moments you want to share with us?

Cool mate! But please change the first pic, mate. Its size is 1471.27KB, and for those with dial up, this would be a nightmare... Just convert it to .jpeg, and repost it, mate!
Edit: the second is also a .png format, please use .jpeg...

I've seen the water on fire before, Got two pyros out of a large convoy just last night.

How do you snap a screen shot?

I'm such a newb

1. The water isn't on fire, it's an explosion beneath the surface.

2. Screenshots are quite easy to take: Ctrl + F11, they are stored in your SH3 folder.

And welcome aboard.

Just press Ctrl +F11, that will do the trick. You could also download FRAPS, to capture video and/or screenshots.

Edit: Hyperion beat me to it...

Dial up? yes it exists.. its been used from an old telephone system at Hamburg-Finkenwerder.
Recently they discovered a deserted underground bunker, with a 1200 baud modem left to find.
It was still operative and connected to subsim.com.

The story goes that farmers till 1997 reported to local police to see suspicious people going in and out the bunker.

In 2006, december an 85 year old disturbed person was taken in, he called himself Kaleun.
