Default GWX Repair Team

Ahoy all,

Firstly, big ups to the GWX team for the supermod. I'm completely re-addicted!

Secondly, when I've got damage and have a full repair team assigned, clicking on a damaged compartment doesn't appear to do anything...? This is of course with silent running OFF. Before GWX, a little wrench used to appear and move up and down to show the crew was working on the repairs. I kind of miss it -- it was a comfort in times of near-drowning! Is there a way to be sure when I've manned a repair team and clicked on a compartment that they're definitely fixing it?

Many thanks, ye swabs ye...

Thanks for the reply! Nope, no red wrench. Is it meant to be where the old (yellow? gold?) one was...?

it has to be in the upper left corner, damage repair team.

Maybe you tried to repare your conning-tower, while submerged?

Ah, I may be but a bilge rat amongst the subsim elite, but I know better than to repair conning tower or forward deck whilst submerged! :p No, this is every time I try and repair the command room or diesel engines etc -- depth charge damage Last time it happened, I watched my command room flood over a period of a couple of hours with no repair activity happening (and had to bail out back to my last save, sans the scalp of the Black Swan that swallowed one of my fish down the throat at 490m....

Inc deleting the SH3 folder in my documents ?

Were you clicking on the main layout illustration of the submarine, or the little one showing the yellow/orange/red boxes. That is the one you need to click on, or at least in my experience anyway. That's the only thing I can think of apart from a bug in the installation or some such.

What I have notice is sometime the compartment will stay yellow or red leading you to believe it needs repair. From what I see the real indication if there is a time shown needed to repair a particular piece in the given compartment. If no time is shown then the repairmen will not get the little red wrench going. Just a strange bug.

Furthermore, if it completely red....no repairs will be made because it is beyond repair.
