Conversion Chart
I've been meaning to knock one of these up for a while, and finally got around to it - a ready reference guide to speed and alt conversions - can be self-supporting or blue-tacked to the side of the monitor. Now when Oberon states he's at 3500' and 240 mph over Dover I'll not be milling around at 4000m and 300 kph wondering why I can't see him in my 109's gunsight.
![]() Of course, I could just wait for the inevitable spin and after about a minute or so he'd appear, disappear, appear, disappear...

Nonsense, just look for the Spitfire bumbling around with a blind pilot in the cockpit

It's available for download at airwarfare.com - don't forget to rate it uber-high.

Also, for the benefit of the uneducated (
) I shall translate the RAFs height system:
Angels = 1000s of feet Cherubs = 100s of feet So, a bandit at Angels 5 would be at 5000ft and a bandit at Cherubs 4 would be at 400ft. ![]() EDIT: I believe Cherubs is 100s of feet, TBH I don't think the RAF actually used Cherubs but I could be wrong. |

3 a.m.?
3 in the morning? I hope you were working nights. ![]() I don't recall ever hearing cherubs, but it would seem quite logical, if a little impractical.
