The Emirati approach is to meet their fellow Muslims' religious needs first, then build schools and clinics later.

As I was reading this article, this approach to the Muslims of Afghanistan simply seemed to make more and more sense... I hope it continues.

Now the word is out the bad guys will probably do their utmost to destroy that unit to send a message. Pity more Arab countries don't lend a hand in Afghanistan.

Quite possibly. But then again, these guys don't sound like they'd be easy to take out...
