Default Problems randomizing crush depth

I have SH3 Commander 2.5. Trying to randomize the crush depth of the IXC. In the misc cfg file, I have crush depth set at 270m with an upper bound of 1.05 and a lower bound of 0.80.

It seems that crush depth is always 224m.

Can someone shed some light on how to randomize in the miscellaneous.cfg file??

thanks

Try TimeTravellers Crush Depth randomizer.
Check out terapin's site-it should be there.

Yes, I know that one works well Only problem with Crush Depth is that you have to change it every time you play. SH3 Commander randomizes all the time.

I think that was the problem. Had Crush Depth installed....

Have you incorporated the IXC "fix" I posted a while ago?

Try it with the "fix".

You're no longer getting the "stb diesel destroyed" message without the fix? Have you made any changes (installed or uninstalled any mods)?

The only thing I did, was what you suggested. Went to the Misc .cfg file, made the change to "3007" after that, did not get the "stb diesel destroyed" message.

Is that the fix you are referring to?

thanks

Thanks. I guess it was cause I had the Time Traveller mod installed. Seems to randomize now.

Just want to be sure of something: I use the upper value at 1.05 and the lower value at 0.8. It is not the other way around?

Lower should be <=1.0 and Upper should be >= 1.0. Thus your settings are fine - the depth will be somewhere between 80% and 105% of 270m.
