Mod causes crashes (Resolved)

I've installed SH3 and the Southampton cruiser mod, but whenever I try to start the game it crashes. It runs the ubi vid and the intro, but the crashes after that. The status bar almost reaches the end, but then dumps me to desktop. I've tried a clean install and updated to 1.4b. Can anyone help me to sort this?

It also requires the Float Plane mod, have you installed it? Check SergÂ´s webpage:
