Yesterday I have sunk my 13th Fiji Class light Cruiser. No I am not mentioning this to brag you about it. On the contrary. According to various internet sites the commonwealth navies had 11 (wikipedia) or 12 (U-boat.net) Fiji class cruisers in service including the modified Ceylon class.
If only 12 Fiji cruisers existed in the real world and if I Did sink my 13th in SH3, this means that the games warship database is not made according to the numbers of real life and the AI spawns warships. In other words I can sink as many Nelson’s as I could (provided I find them) and gain fame and glory. I knew (thanks to this forum) that AI is coded to spawn and de-spawn convoys and task forces at pre designed points. But I always thought that the number of the sunk warships would be deducted from the AI’a database. The negative aspect of this spawning is that the game will never run out of DD’s, DE’s etc. as they will be always re-spawed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crown_Colony_class_cruiser http://uboat.net/allies/warships/class.html?ID=73 http://www.btinternet.com/~a.c.walto...l#Fiji%20Class |
