Watch officer problem

All of a sudden, this clown isn't saying the "aircraft spotted" sound file.

NYGM, no changes to the game, the sound file is where it should be.

Ideas ?

Do you see the text box display the message though, and if you have map contacts on, are you "seeing" it draw the icon there otherwise?

Yes, everything else related works as before. Just the sound file notice isn't.

I just copied the speech files over from the relevant NYGM mod folder and it's working again.

might have been accidentally "muted", or made into a zero-length file. Modding has its pitfalls...
