Icon14 Fog Horn

Evening Gentlemen.
Just as a matter of interest, have any of our excellent modders ever created in the past, a ships "Fog Horn" sound, usually used close to shoreline in heavy fog situations.

It just came to mind as I am inshore to coastline on operation Drumbeat in heavy fog.

Hello Peter. Nice to hear from you.

Obviously no Fog Horns have been produced previously.

Yes, I have put the SH5 "House of Horrors" back on AGAIN.
Still not got SH3 on and have given up with that one.
Currently playing state-side in Drumbeat with yet another new Mod list (attached), put on using "Silentotto", as from the startup game, no proper continuity of follow up games.

It's going well, fascia states that it is January and already completed 2 of the 3 parts for 156,000 Tons. Just have to find "Tanker Alley" to complete that game, however, it states that I have till August to do so.

Your mention of "Campaign Fix" interested me, however, true to form, cannot get it to work, having religiously followed the instructions.

  1. Generic Patcher checked and was OK.
  2. Ubisoft game launcher in programs set to "Administrator" setting.
  3. Started game then went to desk top, Task Manager, no file listed for OS1.exe in processes ; see below:-


Any ideas?

There nothing in tutorial Post #188 about setting the Ubisoft game launcher to administrator setting.

You did not follow the instructions from Picture 3 through to Picture 8 of the tutorial.

Took off blasted UAC and it appeared in Task manager correctly.
No tonnage bar appearing in current game, therefore, do I take off "no stupid tonnage bar" out of JGSME ?

I have never tried it but it sounds like the logical answer.
You would certainly need to have the fix working all the time.

Cannot see why you would want to put the tonnage bar back.
You just play the game as you would in SH3 and SH4.
Whether you use the tonnage bar or not the Post#188 fix has to be done so your campaign will move from Total Germany to Happy Times successfully.

Vecko has made a bat file to day that you can put in your SH5 main folder.

The link to that bat file does not appear to be working.
Appears to be removed according to Media File.
