Interesting detail, I have never seen a submarine painting its turret dark seawater-blue. Looking at the photo, it makes an awesome lot of sense when it comes to deceiving the eyes, apparently.

As did Italy, They to for a while painted their submarines a Mediterranean GREEN. Now a days, as you pointed out, Israel paints their submarines a multi color of blues and grey/brown(bottom half). https://twitter.com/CovertShores/sta...425282/photo/1
