Default Help for a couple of problems

I am learning to play the game and atm am trying Stoianm hydrophone only attack tutorial.

I am using Sobers mod list and having a couple of problems I don't understand.

1. The icon - Hydrophone follow selected target - is greyed out in the officers icon options and when Iam sitting in the hydrophone station all the time no matter how close the contact is.

How do I get the crewman to follow a selected target. do I have to actually lock the target via the periscope for the hydro man to follow it.. if so will I lose the lock again if the periscope is lowered.

2. The plotted compass lines in the navigation map disappears when you zoom in to the map.

Oh and where can I see all the current key commands and change if necessary

Many thanks

Hi

Are you surfaced and did you upgrade the hydrophone? The first hydrophone you get should work while surfaced, but can only really detect ships at the sides of the boat, not in front or rear. The upgraded version can detect in all directions, but only works while submerged, as it's sitting on the deck.

I think that there is a command to follow nearest sound contact, through which you don't need anything locked. You just need an available sound source. I'm not sure though if it's available in stock, as I play with TDW's UI.

The compass lines disappearing on low zoom happens to me too, and it's really annoying. Don't know how to solve it.

You can't change through the game menus, but there might be a file you can edit. I don't know. You can check key bindings in game through F1.

Default mission editor2

Hi all,

I have installed TheDarkWrath’s_TDC_7_4_2 mod (the third one) in my SH5 Steam version and it works well. Very happy with it and what it difference it makes. The only problem is my Mission Editor2 does’nt seem to work anymore. I get a lot of fault messages, for instance: Error: platform FBUSVEarlyWar not found in platform’s library.

Can somebody please help?
