Hello there,
Just a flash question: What is the radius around my grid location to which I am assigned to patrol. For example I have grid AN5116 assigned to me so in order for game to register as me patrolling there what would be the radius in which I must remain for the following 48h for my objective to be marked as completed? And I suppose is 48h as I did not receive information for how long.... Thnx |

If it's a standard Patrol, you should receive a message from BDU upon entering the patrol area, giving you the radius and time-frame data. If you have entered the patrol radius before, and saved the game in-between, it can get buggy. From my own experience I always try to save the game before getting withing 350km of the patrol area, and reload from there in order to have plenty of time on a fresh save to carry out the complete patrol. (I usually save every 48 hrs anyway if possible to avoid bugs) Cant remember exactly where I read to do this, but I believe it was in one of Vecko's posts on TWoS. The radius is variable, sometimes 350km, 300, or even 100km and in-between. Just depends on the mission. Again, BDU should send you a message as soon as you enter the radius. MOst of the patrols will be for 48 hours, but that rule isnt hard and fast either, sometimes it will be for 24 hrs as well.
