Question for modders re: user profile

Hello,

Ive noticed that some of SH5 cfg files are duplicated under the users windows profile, for example c:\user\joe\my documents\sh5\data etc etc...

Do the mods created not need to replace these also during install? Or are these temp files only and not used during sim play? Or something else?

Sorry, new to SH5, and trying to rid some CTD's, and was just wondering if anyone had been thru debugging possible mod conflicts or other...
