silent Hunter three and GWX
I do navigation at 100% all files equaling true. I run two mods, 16 km and integrated orders. I could not use the stars for navigation. I could not use the sun, what I did was carefully time how long it took myself in real time to go 10 km. Doing that for each speed that my sub would travel, both on the surface and underwater ,also taking notation of the RPMs of each speed the sub was traveling. I also drew a line on the desktop screen on magnetic North which is in my opinion 1° off. True North. Which means when I want to go North I set my compass to 359°. Putting all this information through trial and error, I have been able to do a career leaving KIEL-and returning to KIEL, without having to look at F5 key. I write down on paper that has the heading of, TIME-SPEED-HEADING-TIME-DISTENCE-HEADING-DEPTH-PING. Keeping track of all this information has made me successful at navigation I hope this helps you ![]() ![]() |
