Captainchaos returns to the game
![]() But, determined to manual shoot i`m having trouble straightening out shots.. For example, i came across a stopped ship & set myself up at 90 deg, plumbed in AOB for 90, 0 speed, full range.. yet at the attack screen my torpedoes want to veer off somewhere ![]() How do i straighten them out without having to turn my sub ![]() Simple explanation would be very much appreciated. Kind regards in advance. |

You either entered a wrong bearing somehow or selected wrong tubes.
Probably ... .

Clearly a case of Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle at work.

Click the "send range/bearing to TDC" button twice. That should straighten out the torps' run path.

Thankyou
![]() I was abit amazed at how i could possibly cockup a kill served on a plate. "double clicking" fixed things. |

Trust me! It can be done!
I'm stopped! A large modern tanker is 800 yds away stopped! Crosshairs cutting the ship in half! Calm water. Daylight. And two bow torps miss; both swinging wide right! ![]() |

Yeah, if mine are breaking right and yours are breaking left, between the two of us we ought to be able to hit SOMETHING!!
Might have to limit ourselves to carriers at less than 1000 yds though! ![]() |

Fellow captains,
As subskipper53 put it, click twice when adjusting for solution. Everytime you do a change, be it bearing, AOB or speed, click twice on that darn red with white triangle button. Then, it will work. A good way to seee if your solution is right is to look at the torp gyro angle. Mouse over the bottom dial on the TDC (the one that shows own ship) and eventually you'll get torp gyro angle. If its near 360 degrees, you are good to go. I always do that and it works. I tried to to a Cromwell attack with the gyro angle far from 360 degrees (337) and my torps passed yards away from the target's stern. Sigh...
