Local savegames location and Uplay

Hello guyz
I am using Uplay and it seems the savegames are sync on their cloud. I am searching how to backup my savegames before resinstalling my OS.

Yes, I don't really put too much confidence in Uplay and I don't want to waste 500 hours of campaign on WoS :-)

Thanks for any tips on how to find my local savegames if any? If I just backup the "SH5" file in "my documents" it should work?

The cloud works perfectly....i do this from the beginning (2010) never got any problem

You have found save game folder, replace it as you suggest.

or

Allow the Uplay cloud to reacquire your saves, both should work fine . I prefer to have cloud syncs turned off in UPlay launcher settings, it has its pro's and cons

Post #69 How To Play Silent Hunter 5 Offline! > Pictorial
When you go offline you will get the option to take your saved games from the Cloud or from your own saved games folder.
The Cloud will still backup your games saves but will not use them.
