Default Intercepting convoys

Ok I know there was a tutorial with pictures where you draw a circle and then some angles to figure out what course you need to go to intercept a convoy when you have a contact report. It has been a while since I played and I forgot how to do it.

Can someone please send me a link to the tutorial if they know which thread it is on?

I am playing SH3 with GWX if that is relevant.

Thanks in advance.

This is the thread. The image that you speak of is probably the one in message 41.

I dont bother with all that, I just make an estimated guess of the convoys course/speed, plot a rough intercept course and 9 times out of 10 I intercept and be in a good position for an attack.

That can work if you are fairly close by, say within 100, and have good visibility.

I used to do it that way and, like you, scored 8 or 9 out of 10. But now I use the navigation tools, and would call it 95 out of a 100 from even twice as far out.

Takes five minutes, and really increases your odds.
