Swedes to vote in general election

Voters in Sweden are set to go to the polls, with the centre-right coalition expected to win re-election.

A far-right party is also tipped to win seats in parliament for the first time, on an anti-immigration ticket.

But analysts says a strong swing to the right could cost PM Fredrik Reinfeldt's Alliance for Sweden its majority.

The government is riding high in opinion polls against the Social-Democrats and their allies, following tax cuts and a strong recovery.

It's looking like SD will pick up 7,5% of the votes according to the polls.
They may very well esceed that.

When their election ad was not allowed on TV4, and people got to see how harmless it was (on danish TV), the party picked up alot of support.

The issue is welfare money for the elderly, or for immigrants.

Good,

1/3 is said to have voted early retirement which evidently is more 300 000 one last time, in future it will be done via the Internet just like everything else in development time.

Yep! There's too many young people that doesn't really know what they're voting for...I'm not one of those guys that say that "any party except for mine is idiotic" but there is alot of first time voters who votes for like, Piratpartiet, that has one issue to talk about...don't really see the point of that tbh

a lack of interest of politicians Unfortunately, in many cases, politicians show their faces only before elections, and it is not good either, instead of having a constant level all the time,so of course it hit the back of the Court itself, for it is not unique only in Sweden but is well in other countries also

True true...well, I have now voted! All I can do now is to accept the results, whatever it may come to.

I don't vote, mostly because I'm not allowed.
I don't understand politicians
25% of them lie
50% try and fail
25% would do a good job but no one voted for 'em

Although it's a lot different over here so
I guess my opinion may only apply to a few people.
