Default Graphics Tweaks guide for ATI Cards?

I recently upgraded my vid card to an ATI 4850 and remember seeing a tweak guide for nvidia cards for previous silent hunter games and was wondering if anybody can offer something similar like tweak lists or suggestions for getting SH5 to look better using an ATI card (specifically a 4850). It looks pretty good but based on screenshots and videos I've seen I think it can look a lot better. I'm just not sure which settings in the ati control panel to mess with so wanted to see if anyone has suggestions or settings they like to use with their ATI card.

Sometimes depend of which SH5 mission you play , some missions have a fog added and therefore the fog make it look worst

Agree with tonschk regarding the fog, if it rolls in then it'll make everything look more dull with less darker colors.

Also your monitors setting can play a big part with tuning rather than just relying on your video card settings alone. My wife works with photography and bought one of those devices that you place on your monitor to calibrate it and my first reaction was... meh I don't need that, I already have it close.

Well she insisted I use it and after an hour later of doing so.... man, I was way off with the settings to go along with the room light. About the only thing I had close was the contrast. Well I kept adjusting the settings through each step it took me through and got it spot on to what it was suggesting.

I could see a difference right off and the first time I started a game I noticed the colors looked much richer than before. Her photos also come out the way she intended for them to look after working on them and sending them to be developed.

Okay it sounds like I'm seeing "fog" then - though the weather report has no mention of fog but maybe that's not programmed. I played a mission where the fog seemed to disappear- wish it would not have been programmed at all as it does not look like fog, but a sun glare/brightness error of some sort.
