Default anyone else seeing ship wakes through waves?

Its extremely lame tracking a ships wake through the waves in high swells.

Any comments, ideas to remove them? you can see them from miles away too....

I expect it's a limitation of the game engine, but would also like to see it removed.

Plus the fact you can see a ship's reflection through fog long before you can see the ship. At first just the superstructure, then the hull - you can practically identify the ship before it even appears, just from the complete reflection.

can someone work a way to remove ship reflection in every weather except calm? that would be kick ass.

As i recall you cannot see a ship reflected on anything but dead calm seas.

And yes i see the wake through large waves, very annoying.

I see it also. I usually keep the scope just above the water. I see the ship's wakes, even the "lock" button appear through waves. Would love to see that disappear as well.

I can see the wake through the waves. There may be some way to fix it by altering the shaders, but depends on the order the effects are applied.
