Red light

Hi all

Is there a mod that can turn the cabin lights from red to white. I relise they used red to stop white light from the hatch and perispoces. But I find red light irritating and i don`t like looking at it any longer than I have to.
If anyone could instruct me to make a hotkey mod as in SH2 I would very grateful.

I quite like the red light,really DOES help sometimes with your night vision,white can be a bit blinding/distracting at times.The blue one is even sexier!

It's been asked many times, and it is hard-coded, no way to manually 'switch'. But keep a look out for my lighting and ambience mod that I'm working on (shameless plug...) as that will darken down the ambient light in the interiors and make it a lot less 'dazzling'.

More or less, yes, there are mods that change ambient lights and one of them leaves red light only in the conning tower, which AFIK is the correct thing (Watch crew spent there the last minutes before going to the bridge getting used to lower light, but the rest of the uboat worked as normal so white lights for them). Look for it in the SH3 Mods forum, Raptor created one.

No hotkey possible, I'm afraid. Just a mod that you either have installed or uninstalled.

It only took one T1 eel to convince that boat not to float.
