How can I calculate Lat and Long Coords in game? Many specific message events are happening at coords but I don't know how to locate them on the grid map. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks, Greg |

At your command, master:
http://files.filefront.com/MQK+Conve.../fileinfo.html But be aware that most of those type of messages are historic transmissions, and for immersion only.

There are black and white marks on the edges of the map that indicate where a certain degree ends and the next begins. They are not for esthetics, they actually move when panning the map. But they may also represent multiples of degrees because of zoom level clarity, I'm not sure. If you want to use them to measure something on the map you need to draw lines to dissect the degrees into minutes.
But it would only be usefull if you want to do celestial navigation. The radio reports are not real events in the game. |
