I know NOTHING about NONE United States oil tanker that mysteriously got a hole blown in it as it approached England.

Hole?? That's not a hole! It's that new "tugboat pass-through" for the safety of smaller vessels navigating in busy U.S. harbors!

Yeah, that's it. :hmm:

Heh, IRL this wouldn't go up anyway, it was forbidden for the Gestapo to arrest Members of the Kriegsmarine. Even the Gestapo had to follow certain rules and although they had a lot of power they couldn't get away with everything.

Bit of a lame excuse to get insurance, though.

"I want insurance. I know - I'll blow myself up!" WHY, I ask you?!

The official explanation is that it hit a mine. We plant mines, the British plant mines, all God's chillun plant mines. If you can't swim, stay out of the water.

But let's be honest. Aren't they just sooooooo tempting - all bright and shiny and lit up? If you patrol around BF17, quite regularly in 1941 there's a small unescorted convoy of four ships which head SW through the patch - Two merchants and 2 luvverly big tankers. problem is they belong to the Republic of Ireland - Damn it!

"Sorry, sir! Next time I see one I'll wait for it to dock and be requisitioned by the British before I sink it."

As an insurance job, well, sometimes you have to wreck the boat to get the money to make the boat payment!:rotfl:

When you pull into port, dont lull yourself into a false sense of security, your mines and subnets are just a petty challenge for my crew and I.
