Default Long 37mm Flak Gun reload

I upgraded my VIIC to a new conning tower and installed a heavy 37mm flak gun. The reload time is listed as 1.5 sec, but in-game it takes 4-5 sec to reload. This seems to be as long as the 88mm deck gun. Does anyone else have this problem, and/or is there a solution? Is the heavy flak gun reload somehow tied to the deck gun reload time? Using GWX 1.03 w/ SH3 CDR.

The more tired the crew member on the gun the longer the reload
Same with experience

Actually STEED they can be useful for Merchys that refuse to go down. Also they can bring down a bomber with ease.

What version of the 37mm do you have? The stock standard version (semi-auto) is slow firing at the best of times, but if you have a well rested and experienced crew you should find it loads faster.

Thanks - will take a look at the crew again. IIRC, the crew was fully rested and one was a petty officer w/ the Flak Gun skill. It was the first 37mm that become available, however.

You will find that it will be slow reloading anyway. When the first auto 37mm comes avaible, buy it! You will find the twin 37mm is what you truly dream of.
