If I post a letter to Germany but the house number is missing from the address, will it still arrive? The name and all other parts are correct.

It really depends on the mail person. I've seen letters being returned as "undeliverable" because the guy made a mistake with the house number (he was off by one...). On other occasions letters with larger address errors found their way to their intended recipients. It really boils down to how much effort the mail guy puts into it.
