Default Grammophone question

Ok, I know this sounds stupid, but: Does the grammophone affect noise levels? I mean is it an actual "in game" grammophone, that soothes the crew and raises morale? Or just an mp3 player for us?

Thanks!

IIRC, its just an "mp3" player. It doesnt do anything for the crew & the boat.

.......lol and if you're like most of us, the music coming out of the grammophone is anything but soothing.

It won't effect morale or get you detected. So rock on!!!

The perfect scenario........blazing along on the surface during the night trying to get ahead of the convoy playing 'Ride of the Valkyrie'

I much prefer Iron Maiden - Run Silent, Run Deep myself

Running silent! Running deep! We are your final prayer,
Warriors in secret sleep,a merchantman's nightmare
A silent death lies waiting, for all of you below
Running silent! Running deep! Sink into your silent sleep...

Speaking of this, what stuff do the rest of you have on the gramophone?

Crikey Seth what a diverse choice. I have Sabaton (4 albums) certainly gets the crew ready for action.

I just added J'atendres. "My crew" Likes All Over The Place and we play it after each sinking or convoy attack.

I mainly listen to instrumental stuff, but when I feel angsty I listen to my angry stuff.

I always shut it off when I spot something; but you're right - when surprised it sometimes stays on for a while. Once I even said out loud "Shut that *%&$ thing off!"
