Why doe's lightening workin SM.

Several have said it works in single missions. It appears to have a fixed point as you modders know. I made a few single missions and noticed it doe's appear. I need to get rid of it during storms as it wouldn't historically appear up north.

I do get it in campaign mode TMORSRD but only at ports. Haven't checked them all, but get it at Manila, Subic Bay, Milne Bay, Tulagi, ect.. Anyway just playing with it, but is lightening joined to the land in some fashion? Anyone know how to get rid of it?

The only time I've seen lightning is in the Growler single mission. Even then, it was only as a "flash", not a distinct "bolt" if you know what I mean.
