Default (Perhaps) future Newbie!

Hello, I just recently bought a new notebook that comes with Vista Home Premium. Based on what I read in the forums here, it looks like it may work. My next question, will it work with the new set up? Here are the specs:

AMD Turion™ 64 X2 mobile technology TL-56 at 1.8GHz
2GB RAM
120GB HD
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 (UMA)with up to 288MB shared video memory

I am what is probably considered a very casual gamer, but every once in a while I like firing up a game or two, this one I've wanting to play for quite a while. The other thing that worries me is Starforce, I see so many conflicting versions, I really don't know what to believe or do, but I guess first things first, since I am not even sure it will run on my laptop.

Thanks!

Oh man, I am off to a great start... oh well, I lived without SH3, and I am sure I will survive... Thanks.

Don't give up matey! It's just my personal aversion to Starforce and Vista. It should work with your setup.

Several people play SH3 on laptops, and have no problems, and yours looks pretty impressive to me; but on the other hand I don't have one and I don't know what their positions are concerning SF.

Don't get to down - or up - until some of them chime in. I'm sure within a day or so you'll have more information than you can handle.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your input. I think I will give it a shot, and hope for the best. I will wait a few days in any case, and see if any more info comes along here.
