Default Complete Noob Signing up ;-)

Hello everone :p

Having been completely involved in Ubi's other great sim (il2 Sturmovik) for the last 5 years. I found myself drawn to SH 2 last year(it didn't run on my PC )

So when I saw SH 3 at the ridiculous price of £5 I bought and managed to install it(cheapo Xmas gift to myself) :p

Only last night did I find this site, and immediately downloaded a few of the posted mods

I have tried a few single missions + have a few patrols under my cap on campaign

I would hope that fellow users can and would point me in the right direction with any issues I may have in the future

Thanks and Good Hunting

Hi, welcome Maddysad,

You will enjoy SH3 believe me - it can take time to learn (especially manual targeting etc.) but it's worth it.

But definitely get GWX (and the update) you will notice a HUGE difference between stock SH3 and this!

Word to the wise. Make sure your in port before you load any MODS. If you don't it can corrupt your files and mess up your careers, etc.

Welcome aboard Swab! Go scrape some barnicles

Welcome aboard, Maddiesad,
People here are very helpful! Do download GWX. It has a pretty good users manual. Some of the members also have websites with tutorials. Very helpful!

You may wish to visit my webbie, which has some suggestions on tactics.

Be afraid, very afraid to survive1

GWX is the best mod out there. It's something more than a game it's an experience Have a look at the manual and give it a shot. You don't lose anything. It's a free mod and if you don't like it you can always uninstall it and return to the original SH3
