Silent Hunter III v 1.3 ?!?!

Why is it that after I try to patch my clean install to 1.4b (using the patch from ubi) it says that it is going to patch me to v 1.3? I didnt even know there was a 1.3. Im quite sure that I am downloading an running the correct patch.

That is a long standing error that Ubi never fixed. Don't worry. You're actually patching it to 1.4b, even though it tells you you're patching to 1.3

Thanks for all the help mook. Ive waited for days for the GW mod to dl and I have been trying to get it working since a little before noon my time (its 3:30pm now). No luck so far but I think im close. I installed the first time mid mission and botched my game. Got it reinstalled after that en_help.txt problem, got it patched to 1.3

and just reinstalled the gw supermod. Crossing my fingers and thanking you and Albrecht Von Hesse for the help.
