Default DCS - Your favorite module and why it is

Of the many modules I already own, I definetly like the Ka-50, which ironically, is the last one I have learned to fly.

The amount of detail and possibile loadout configurations make it one of the most versatile and fun modules to play with, imho.

F14 Tomcat.

As a kid I had it as toy the Hasbro Flying Fighters F14 tomcat, so that's where it started. Then ofcourse there's Top Gun! a guilty pleasure to watch.

Anyway as for the Aircraft itself, Swept wing, twin engine, crew of 2 Pilot and RIO, Navy Aircraft, the Phoenix Missiles and for me it's the right balance of not to modern with all the blips and blops of fly by wire & modern systems.

Heatblur really did a marvelous job on the Tomcat, the Jester AI is brilliant the cockpit looks great and the sound design ofcourse is top notch. It's still being worked on as now it's in EA and it's the F14B that's currently flyable, later they'll release the F14A and ofcourse improvements and added features are made to the Jester and Iceman AI.

It's fulfilling my need for speed!

I only have two modules: The UH-1 Huey and the Viggen.
I love both but have nothing to compare them against.

The Huey. I like that it has no real autopilot (aside from the copilot), so you actually have to fly with your head up. I love the Ka-50, but I feel like I spend most of the time staring at the TV monitor while in an auto hover. Same thing with the A-10C in an orbit.

It's also fantastic with VR for the same reason. Plus, listening to some Creedence while flying is as God intended.

I don't have any of the *real* modules yet (lack of time/money), but I seriously enjoy flying the F-15C in Flaming Cliffs. Going to be picking up the F-14 and most likely the F-5E sometime very soon.
