Haven't done that for along while, it never ran under XP for me. Some days I talked about this with someone else, and tried it again. This time it started and runs well, but goes ctd after each mission ending. I also can'T get my USB joystick beeing recognized.
Played it a lot ion the past. Also played the first Tank Platoon back in the early nineties on Amiga, and extensively so. A Sabot looked like a missile and needed around 10 seconds of time to travel 1500 meters. Means: TP1 stretched the machine to the limits. I took it as some scifi-submarine tank game with tons of water hindering rapid movement of objects and had lots of fun with it nevertheless. ![]()

Yes, I still play it from time to time - excellent sim of course. Those end of missions CTD's are intermittent for me. I heard that if you continue in campaign missions, it doesn't happen or at least as often.
With a Glide Wrapper, this game looks really good, and is running fairly well for me - dgVoodoo1.4+ is the wrapper I use. Eugene |
