A Danish politician Inger Støjberg, was impeached and was convicted and sentenced to 60 days unconditional imprisonment

She is facing a landmark lawsuit, which accuses her of bearing responsibility for breaking the law.

The 26 judges of the special court, which only convenes to try former or current members of government, will determine whether Støjberg violated the European Convention on Human Rights.

Inger Støjberg has been found guilty of intentional violation of the Ministerial Accountability Act, section 5, subsection. 1. The sentence is set at unconditional imprisonment for 60 days.
