New version of Steel Beasts 4

A new upgrade 4.x (not 5.0) is cautiously hinted by eSim to be prepared for release at the end of Q1/19. It will include the long awaited new terrain engine that saw several delays now due to troubleshooting the engine, and contract obligations getting in their way. It was also announced that the new upgrade also will bring plenty of new stuf as it is good tradition with SBP upgrades since 12 years, not just the new engine.

Currently the sim is at version 4.023. I assume the new engine brings it to version 4.1 or 4.2

No bad going for a sim running strong since over 12 years now. Their professional customers still order.

Version 4.1 is currently mulled for release in "July 2019". Videos hint at improved terrain engine, new vehicles, slightly improved infantry AI, new machine guns and sights for fireteams, new equipments, cratering effects in the ground surface, new tracer graphics, fragment analysis, and more.
