From what little I've been able to find, this is a known glitch with Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory.
But is there a fix? Can't find any evidence of a fix so far. If you've played this game you probably know what I'm talking about: when you get to the missions where you're driving a Tiger tank, the turret is invisible. You can still fire the cannon, but it looks very odd. I did find a fix for code.dll to be able to run the game at all under Windows 8.1, but this missing turret thing is a drag. It also seems as if the treads aren't animated on any of the tanks. They're supposed to be, right?

I am surprised there are still people playing that very arcade tank game which is at least 7 to 8 years old.
I don't think you'll get much feedback on this forum as this is for more hardcore type of games. Try Googling and see if anybody came up with a fix. |

Nah, there's no fix. I looked everywhere else first. Even the Steam version of this game (mine came from elsewhere) is broken, with the Tiger's turret missing. It's most likely never going to get fixed, ever.
Meanwhile I realized I was confusing Panzer Elite with Panzer Elite Action. They're similarly named but apparently completely different games.

Yes they are easy to confuse and I suspect the makers of Panzer Elite Action probably banked on that when they named their game. Bought both Fields of Glory and the other one called Dunes of War for my 2 young sons back in 2007 ...They didn't play long with them...
