DCS: Black Shark
Looks _extremely_ promising:
http://www.simhq.com/_air11/air_346a.html Seems that finally, finally we have a chance of junking IL-2 and all that carp, i.e. this arcade garbage they for some incomprehensible reason call "combat flight SIMULATORS", in favour of something more in-depth |

I cant see why I would dump IL2 over an MODERN sim based on HELICOPTERS. They can make it feel how real they want, but if it isnt WWII and fighters, I aint touching it.

Hey Dowly, just kidding Each to their own of course, and in principle I do prefer WWI / WWII AC myself. It's just that I'm a bloody geek, and thus if someone promises to produce something THIS detailed and realistic I'm feekin' sold!

Yea yea. Tho, I must say I enjoyed Lock On when I played it. There's just something magical when you fly at 4500m, look the convoy down below thru the little monitor, lock on and missile away!
