I am not familiar with latest SH3 mods but as I remember what makes this game not very playable now is: old-fashioned graphics, low 1024x768 resolution and lack of wide-screen support.

I would also be glad if SH5 became "finished" product but I am not sure if it is possible without constant and large developer's support. This support seems to decline now so all hope is in modders' effort. The question is whether modders alone are able to repair SH5 ver. 1.2 to be on par with SH3+GWX or SH4+RFB...
