38s. They are much tougher than the P
36s we have encountered so far.
The P36s aren't that bad, you just have to use the cannons.
Another thing that HunterICX has found out this morning is that if you take a bomber/destroyer and you change to a gunnerposition your carrer gets overwritten. That's why I'm an "Oberfeldwebel" again (This is not even the correct rank, since an Oberfeldwebel will not be promoted to Leutnant. An Oberfeldwebel will (almost) always remain in the petty officer's ranks and eventually become an Oberstabsfeldwebel as his highest possible rank, but that's another story...

So always remain on the pilots position when flying a bomber (Lets hope the bombsight position is regarded as being part of the pilots position by the DCG) .
