The AI doesn't generally need much encouragement to crash into...well...anything. Particularly the player aircraft...they seem magnetically drawn to it in a dogfight.

They should be updating soon to take into account the new IL2 patch...but they said the timeframe was '2 weeks' about 5 weeks ago...
