looks very interesting.
one item to think about changing is that there were few, if any, warrant officers serving in US submarines. serving officers were commissioned officers and there is a difference, which you can research on your own.
the game uses the three lowest commissioned officer ranks, which is very accurate: ensign, lt-jg, lt.
you may want to re-think that part of your mod.
