I encountered similar issues at a YMCA camp in '69's cabin bunking I Jr. councelor'd at while teaching sailing etc; and later, in my '70's long-haul trukkin' days: hot-racking the sleeper mattress with a co-driver...generally in carefully logged 4 hour shifts...
