Abrigada (United States) The cargo ship caught fire at Saint Michaels, Maryland and was scuttled.
Frances Gardner (United Kingdom) The schooner foundered in the Atlantic Ocean 70 nautical miles (130 km) off Cape Race, Newfoundland. Her crew were rescued by
Albr. W. Selmer ( Norway).
Joachim (Spain) The schooner was wrecked at Testadelaban. Her crew were rescued by
Armenie ( France).
Melamson Bros (United Kingdom) The schooner ran aground on Cobblers' Reef, Barbados and was wrecked with the loss of four crew.
