I know the radar can detect the snorkel!
If I detect a convoy or more warships I can send a contact report. If I detect only a merchant I can not send a contact report... still a mistery

However, the three received messages are boring: "Keep up the good work" or "Be more agressive" and after you have left without the torpedoes: "Return to home".
