^ this is not snub by the EU, but the rules for every sovereign country in the world not being a member of the EU, from having no trade treaties to those of the WTO, to CCTP, and among each other.

I also would not blame the EU for some dutch custom officers who behave impolite. Oh wait .. always blame ..

Regarding Nissan they only did so after a deal had been reached between EU and UK. Otherwise the UK would have had to pay.

Land Rover also produces in England, despite now belonging to indian Tata(?) . The new L Rover 110 400 hp defender engine has been developed in England, at Wolverhampton - a phantastic piece of machinery and good for them. It is nice to drive if a bit heavy, but 86,000 pounds for a car..
