The death sentence is quite the opposite of cheap, unless you live in some uncivilized place where people are just dragged behind a wall and shot. A one-time surgery or a monthly injection would be much cheaper - not that i agree on any of those punishments. I don't see how castration would help change thoughts, so all it can do is stop (some kinds of) rape, which are methods of abuse P.M. haven't done to anyone AFAIK. Having no way to have sexual intercourse would likely just make someone even more frustrated which sound like a dangerous thing to me. No, let's hate the guy but keep it civilized so animals like him doesn't end up changing us and destroy those that have to carry out the punishments
