Hey all. I have problems with my soundman Benno. He does not call out distances correctly.

In grosse entfernung: 6-8 or more km. Never certain.

Mittlere distanz: 2-6km

Kurze distanz: 100m-2km.

This means that whenever he says Mittlere distanz and Kurze distanz I now know not to use the periscope under ANY circumstance, unless the weather is medium to heavy fog. Even light fog can cause serious problems when a DD is near.

He also at times refuses to call out moving warships that are really close by but starts mentioning those further away.

Also a problem in the game is that when the sound man calls out a target and I look through the periscope at it and use auto TDC for distance, when I surface the WO when pressing on the binocular icon ranges the target completely different and way closer to my boat, as does the TDC when using the UZO.

This is getting to the point of severe annoyance and always checking with the external cam before surfacing, which in a way is cheating.

Anyone else have these problems?
